Sin has attempted to gain the victory over humanity from the beginning of time, and its attempts are no less grievous and pernicious today. Nevertheless, although sin has abounded throughout modern society, the grace of God will always be greater than sin.
Like all the paradoxical workings of God, grace has provided faith for all humanity to stand within God’s grace. That is to say, every person has been given a measure of God’s grace to receive faith in Jesus Christ who, through His redemption, is the channel for the grace that is greater than our sin.
Therefore, as we go through disappointments, frustrations, failures, and tribulations remember the Apostle Paul’s exhortation, “…where sin abounded, grace did much more abound”. We can rejoice and be confident, continuing our trust in Christ Jesus, knowing that God’s grace which is always greater than sin will ” reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord”.
