Consider How Christianity Is Your Confession

Jesus Christ, having been begotten as the first born from the dead, after He had made substitution for the sin of the whole world, sat down at the right hand of Majesty on High. Christ being made Lord, you are called to consider how Christianity is your confession.

Hebrews 3:1, informs, “Wherefore holy brethren, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession”. Here we see Christianity, this finished work of Jesus Christ viewed as a confession.

Consequently, you can now understand Romans 10:9, “if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved”. This is the conduit into Christianity, your confession of the completed redemptive activity of Christ.

Christianity is your confession that Christ is seated at the right hand of the Father, having thoroughly redeemed us from sin and death. It is your confession that you are sons and daughters of God with rights and privileges as heirs with Christ.

Furthermore, Christianity is your confession of your mastery over Satan, weakness, and disease in the Name of Jesus. It assures you that your place in Christ is secure; and being released from anxiety, fear and doubt, you have power in this life.
