Genuine Faith Rests In The Word

Christians who desire to experience the working of their faith must have an unconscious confidence that genuine faith rests in the word of God. The word of God must become as real to you as the word of greeting you hear spoken by your friends and relatives each day. The word of God is the reservoir of all faith.

Paul, in Romans 10:8, indicates, “…the word is near you, even in your mouth, and in your heart; that is, the word of faith, which we preach”. There is no inquiry about getting faith or do you have enough faith, it is simply faith resting in the word of God

Indeed, we would not think of Jesus musing whether He had faith or attempting to muster faith; no, He merely heard the word of the Father, possessed and acted on that word. In like manner, your faith must rest in the fact that what the word says is a reality.

God’s word has resolved the issue and solved whatever the problem. Brothers and sisters in Christ, if you are to experience the mighty works of God in your life and the life of your community, realize that God has spoken to humanity, revealed Divine knowledge, through His word. Allow your faith to rest in that word.
