Although we have heard, known of, and seen written down the account of God appearing on the earth in human form, Christians established in the faith must be fixed on the fact God was formed in the flesh. This cannot simply be a statement of faith or theological teaching, it must be a truth just as firm as your own being.
Dead doctrines cannot provide you the experience of the presence of God in your life. John 1:14, declares, “And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father), full of grace and truth”. What an assurance to know the Dayspring from on High has deigned to visit you.
Without controversy or doubt, the Christian believer must receive as fact that God has broken into the realm of humanity and revealed His actual presence. This is the beginning of your faith that God is, and “he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him”.
Jesus’ incarnation, God having been formed in the flesh, must be a foundational reality received at the core of every Christian believer. It should be fixed in your heart as firmly as the fact of your own birth. Having it so fixed leaves no room for fear, doubting or anxiety because you now understand that God is with you.
