Living Out The Reality Of Your Redemption

Essential to the productive, overcoming life of Christian believers is an acting out the fact of freedom from the bondage of sin and Satan. More than simply receiving a religious message or theological concept, as victorious Christians you must be engaged in living out the reality of your redemption.

Your everyday, super-ordinary existence should rest upon the truth that you are redeemed. Colossians 1:13-14, states, “For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins”. Daily affirm this truth, assuming dominion that has been regained for you.

Authority and dominion which had been usurped from humanity has been restored to you through the shed blood, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Therefore, no matter how dire or dreadful your previous condition, when you receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, you are bought back to your place in God.

Living out the reality of your redemption means you know and accept you have eternal life, and that you are free from the bondage of the Adversary. Romans 6:14, says, ” Sin shall not have dominion over you”, or “Satan shall not lord it over you”. You have become a master in the earth, destined to take your place with Christ.

Everyone who knows and accepts their place in Christ lives out the reality of redemption. Indeed, when you are in Christ it is impossible for you not to be free of the dominion of the Devil. Since Christ has regained your dominion, live as you are free and redeemed.

  1. Oh, how true. So many of our brethren live non-victorious lives due to lack of understanding this truth. Great post. Thanks.
